Abstract

The paper discusses the main aspects of using CO isotope ratio measurements to obtain information about the global CO cycle and compares new CO isotope data from high latitude sites in both hemispheres to illustrate the interhemispheric differences in the CO budget as manifested in isotope ratio differences.
