The IORP II Directive Articles 38-40 contain new provisions to enhance communication and the sharing of accurate information. This information should be provided to the members and beneficiaries of the IORP. This includes a standard format for the annual communication specific to the relevant pension arrangement, the “pension benefit statement”. This information must be accurate, updated, and made available to members free of charge at least once a year, either electronically or on paper. Any material changes to the information must be clearly indicated.
