Abstract
Het gaat niet goed met het tekstbegrip van de Nederlandse middelbare scholier. Eén waarschijnlijke verklaring hiervoor is dat het Nederlandse leesonderwijs vanuit wetenschappelijk oogpunt nogal verouderd is.
