Abstract

This chapter results from an EU wide evaluation study of civil procedure, reviewing legal doctrine and practice in all EU Member States. This publication focuses on the functioning of the European Enforcement Order, the European Order for Payment procedure, the European Small Claims Procedure, and the Maintenance Regulion. It evaluates the national reports and quantitative and qualitative data gathered in the Member States and gives recommendations for improvement of regulation and practice.
