Abstract

Tavecchio’s paper states that RCTs are impractical in the daily practice of
social work and public health professionals. He argues that its external validity is
limited and that the application of knowledge acquired by stringent application of
RCTs takes too long. I believe his arguments are a little off and I shall argue why.
