regarding public employees. Across four thought-provoking chapters,
Sheeling Neo navigates through cultural nuances and societal
influences to uncover the truths behind commonly held beliefs.
Unveiling Citizen Expectations and Stereotypes
This dissertation embarks on a journey to discern the expectations
citizens associate with public employees and the stereotypes they harbor.
Through qualitative studies and large-scale surveys spanning multiple
countries, intriguing insights emerge, challenging conventional wisdom
and revealing the multifaceted nature of public perception.
Exploring Impact on Behavior and Integrity
This dissertation further delves into the effects of stereotypes on
public employees’ task performance and ethical conduct. Contrary to
