Abstract

This paper discusses the application of a semantic search algorithm, “ANNH: Associative Neural Networks for the Humanities”, to the corpora of Schelling’s writings and that of other philosophers. Particular attention is paid to issues of interpretation that result from applying this search technology. The ANNH-technology is also analyzed with a view to the broader context of issues arising in the context of the Digital Humanities.
