Abstract

Recently it has been established that liver blood flow is a major determinant in the clearance of recombinant human tissue-type plasminogen activator. The influence of daily life activities, which have an effect on liver blood flow, on fibrinolysis are discussed. A distinction is made between the short term and long term effects on fibrinolysis.
