    Bibliographical note

This book is more than welcome as it deals with highly relevant themes of research, summing up both the views of researchers specialized in strategies and the results of their studies. It offers diverse tables of applications and a number of discussions on their issues on theoretical and practical spheres of influence. The strategic competence is defined as a dynamic process facilitating language learning, which requires flexible and integrated approaches. It emphasizes once again the picture of the successful autonomous language learner as actively engaged in the learning process and the need for further research to enhance our understanding of the common processes underlying the development of the strategic competence.
