Abstract
Het ministerie van VWS noemt de assessment procedure voor buitenlandse artsen succesvol. De auteurs hebben het perspectief van een aantal buitenlandse artsen op deze procedure onderzocht. Zij staan kritisch tegenover de assessment procedure. De onderzoekers bevelen aan: verricht beter onderzoek naar de uitval, geef betere voorlichting, maak een betere taaltoets en beperk het enorme tijdverlies.
