Abstract
We live in a time of rapid technological development and significant interest in
sustainability. It is therefore imperative to have tools available for the sustainability
assessment of existing and new technologies. This is recognized by the
European Commission and they awarded a grant to a consortium of universities,
research institutes and companies to develop such tools in the project called
Prospective Sustainability Assessment of Technologies (Prosuite).
