Focusing on the visual teaching trans media representations: teaching trans media representations

Research output: Contribution to conferenceAbstractAcademic

Abstract

In my presentation I would like to share the best practice of research-based education with a focus on the theme of LGBTQIA media representation. My presentation is based on two essays I’ve written on trans media representations and how these can be used in a classroom to serve various purposes: from a scholarly/content perspective and as means to generate discussion on gender variance in the classroom and also beyond.
