Abstract

socires and the Sustainable Finance Lab (SFL) each followed their own trajectory in discovering how finance should be transformed in order to serve the common good. The coming years we will cooperate in the program Finance and the Common Good, aimed at developing a Rhineland ‘way of finance’. In this, SFL will focus on the application of new technologies. I hereby describe my introduction to Socires at the 2018 Rhineland Economic Forum. After that I introduce the ideas SFL will be working on, how new technologies can allow people to express their social and ecological values also in their financial activities.
