Abstract

Bruno Piazza and Giorgio Voghera were both prisoners in World War II and wrote about it. Piazza was taken to the Risiera di San Sabba and later to Auschwitz, where he survived the gas chamber. Vogheram as an Italian national, was held by the British in Jaffa prison.
