Abstract
A combined structural and sedimentological investigation was carried out in the 1800-1650 Ma-old rocks of the Parroo Range, situated in the centre of the Western Fold Belt of the Mount Isa Inlier at the intersection of transverse and longitudinal major block boundaries. Detailed structural mapping, restoration of cross-sections, and geometrical analysis of coarse clastic deposystems and their internal and external unconformities have led to re-assessment of the early phases of structural evolution of this part of the inlier. -from Authors
