Abstract

We have developed an in-plane electrophoretic concept, which enables the realization of full-color reflective panels with a higher brightness than present e-paper technologies, without compromising paper-like properties like a large viewing angle and ultra-low power consumption. An additional advantage (e.g. For future low-cost manufacturing) is that a passive-matrix configuration is also possible.
