Beyond the Private Sector: International HRM in the Not for Profit Sectors

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterAcademic

Abstract

Most discussions of HRM are explicitly, or more often implicitly, about the private sector. That is particularly the case in international HRM, where the discussion is dominated by analyses of the HRM of multinational corporations (MNCs). But the private sector is just one of many kinds of multinational enterprise operating internationally, employing people internationally and needing to think about how to manage them.
