Het dichtwerk van Sonja Prins (1912-2009) is uitzonderlijk activistisch, en (daardoor?) uitzonderlijk onbekend. In deze bijdrage wordt haar ontwikkeling in poëzie en politiek gereconstrueerd binnen de ontwikkelingen van haar tijd: de vrijwel gehele twintigste eeuw.
