Abstract
Publication of a conjecture by Paul Maas on Aesch. fr. **451n R.2 The conjecture, which comes from a postcard addressed by Maas to Eduard Fraenkel, diverges from the interpretation of the most recent editors of Aeschylus’ fragmentary plays, and sheds new light on the puzzling fragment.
