The Utrecht Young Academy (UYA) will be set up to form a bridge between young Utrecht researchers. The goal of this initiative is to connect, exchange and interact. The members will get familiar with each other's fields of expertise and can advise each other from their own perspective about the needs researchers have. In addition, they will start projects together to gain public attention for Utrecht University's research.
Researchers can be nominated for the UYA by the deans of Utrecht University, programme directors of Utrecht University's strategic research themes and current KNAW Young Academy Alumni of Utrecht University.
