Dr. Liping Dai is an assistant professor at Utrecht University Centre for Water, Oceans and Sustainability Law. She focuses on climate-resilient urban environments and nature-based solutions. Her work spans legal research, policy development and interdisciplinary governance, particularly in relation to private gardens, biodiversity, and climate adaptation at the municipal scale. She integrates legal reasoning with spatial, ecological and social dimensions, aiming for practical, evidence-based solutions that strengthen resilience and improve everyday living environments.
