During a round table discussion, academics and policy makers shared their experiences and ideas on the topic "What steps need to be taken to improve the interaction between academia and policy?" A Chatham house rule report about this session was written by Elisa de Weerd. The report is accessible online, and is also added to the KVS Preadviezen which contain conversations between Nobel Laureates and policy makers in memory of Jan Tinbergen and are edited by Eric Bartelsman and Esther-Mirjam Sent.
