The Journal of Development Around the World (DAW) is an initiative of the International Development Studies program of the Department of Human Geography and Spatial Planning at Utrecht University. DAW is an annual open-access publication focusing on pressing development-related issues, combining theoretical and grounded empirical research. Cutting across a global North - South divide, it aims towards improving the world through research and policy advocacy.
