Description
The congress ‘The Future of Paleography, Paleography of the Future’ presented projects exploring the interaction of AI and other digital tools with paleography and script research. The congress included lectures, posters, and information stands, as well as brief presentations of Digital Humanities tools relevant to the study of script.
This is the first congress organised by the Utrecht University Paleohub, an interdisciplinary working group on script and written artefacts.
Key-note speakers: Mladen Popović (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen), Irene van Renswoude (University of Amsterdam, Huygens Instituut), Mariken Teeuwen (Leiden University, Huygens Instituut), Rebekah Ahrendt (Utrecht University), and Annelot Vijn (Het Utrechts Archief).
