I provided consultancy (2 hours) to Dr. Rui Costa Lopes, Principal Investigator of the research project MILD – The role of meritocracy on legal decisions towards low status groups (PTDC/PSI-GER/28765/2017). We discussed the research project in general and the results generated so far. More specifically, we discussed the studies regarding the implicit representation of recidivism as it utilises the Reverse Correlation Task, a topic on which Dr Costa Lopes has produced several scientific outputs. We have discussed how to address a specific impediment that Dr. Costa Lopes' team encountered and how to deal with that issue in future publications.
