Revealing conceptual difficulties when interpreting histograms: an eye-tracking study

Description

Eye-tracking adds a new tool to the toolbox of researcher. An exploratory study with xis university students was conducted to reveal students' conceptual difficulties when interpreting histograms. We found two types of interpretation strategies: a histogram interpretation strategy and a case-value plot interpretation strategy.
