Description

A presentation of the project 'Facilitating the energy transition in the energy intensive industry'. Sustainability is essential. CO2 emissions need to be reduced and the share of renewable energy needs to increase. Both the energy intensive and power sector present substantial issues for increasing sustainability. So far, progress has been slow in these sectors. In this project we examine legal, economic and governance explanations for the slow transition while also examining legal, economic and governance instruments for facilitating and accelerating this transition in order to stimulate innovation.
