Workshop Questions about researching relics. Aim of the workshop was to offer a platform to discuss research questions and problems of methodology and to try out new ideas and approaches. Central issues that were discussed included the definition of 'relic' (what do we mean by 'relic'), the relation between relics and writing, and the question of authenticity. How did/do people create trustworthiness?
