Description

This symposium is organized by the students in the RMA Comparative Literary Studies masterclasses “Toward a Poetics of Animality” (led by Kári Driscoll) and “The Language of Empire” (led by Mia You). Speakers at the symposium include: Amapola Alonso, Joska Hendrikx, Roos Kreeft, Sara Vermeer, Trisha Bhaya, Tessa Hölscher and Shupei Pan, as well as visiting PhD researchers Kennedy Dragt, Ido Fuchs, Anna Potoczny and Maria Trejling. The concluding keynote lecture is given by Zoë Skoulding, poet, translator and Professor of Poetry and Creative Writing at Bangor University.
