Description
Meta-analyses based on systematic literature reviews are considered the highest level of evidence in medicine. R provides several functions and packages to perform simple meta-analyses, meta-regression and network meta-analyses. It also can produce the corresponding graphics, e.g. forest and bubble plots.
During a short presentation (15:30-16:00), Cathalijn Leenaars will show these functions after a brief introduction to systematic literature reviews. Cathalijn works as a post-doc on systematic literature reviews of animal studies in the department of animals in science and society, faculty of veterinary medicine, as well as for the RadboudUMC (SYRCLE) and the Hannover Medical School.
Who, where and when? The R Data Café will take place on Monday 11 June from 15:00 to 17:00. The location is the Buchelius room 6.18 at Utrecht University Library, location Uithof. The R Data Café is open for all UU and UMCU employees and students. No need to register, you can just drop by!
