This poster presents a DH project aimed at automatically detecting magical signs ("charakteres") in a corpus of magic manuscripts from the Cairo Genizah, followed by pattern detection and analysis. The goal is to identify formal and contextual patterns, ultimately connecting signs with each other (clusters), as well as with specific magic formulae and supernatural entities.
