During the workshop, I presented the paper "Three Structural Pillars of the Future Internationally Legally Binding Instrument for the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biodiversity in Areas beyond National Jurisdiction" (Later revised as "Designating Marine Protected Areas as an institutional mechanism for the protection of biodiversity in areas beyond national jurisdiction") co-authored by Catherine Blanchard, Otto Spijkers and myself.
