I had organised a session which presented some of the results and methodological challenges of the VIDI-project Mind Over Matter: Debates about Relics as Sacred Objects, c.350-c1150. Focus was on reflections about sanctity and relics, as well as on the construction of ‘relichood’ through the use of the written word.
