Description
This interactive workshop is aimed at i) making supervisors aware of the existence and potential effects of cognitive biases in on-site investigations, and ii) reflecting on working methods and technics to reduce these biases. The seminar will consist of a presentation of the concept of “cognitive biases”, roleplays, and discussions by investigation officers on best practices based on professional experiences from participants. This seminar will benefit from the participation of Dr. Tessa Coffeng from the Dutch AFM and Utrecht University, expert in social and behavioural sciences.
