How could supervisory authorities make use of behavioural insights in their day-to-day supervisory and policy work?
The aim of the workshop is to explore the added value of various types of behavioural insights for policy and supervisory purposes, derived from behavioural economics as well as organisational psychology. It also aims at identifying the challenges faced by NCAs, the supervisory or policy areas that benefit from behavioural insights and any lessons learned from NCAs in the process.

Setting the Scene: Introduction to Behavioural Insights
The presentation will cover an overview of various types of Behavioural Insights, ranging from insights on consumer / investor behaviour to organisational culture. It will include various ways in which Behavioural Insights can be applied to the supervisory and policy work of ESAs and NCAs, as a starting point for further discussion.
