Children and Language Mixing: A validation study of the Q-BEx

Activity: Talk or presentationPoster/paper presentationAcademic

Description

A new combination of methods was introduced to the public to measure the language environment of bilingual children. It was shown via graphs that solely using a questionnaire could lead to misleading results, and using solely audio recordings is too labor intensive. A combination of both methods might solve each other's problems. Ideas were shown based on very preliminary results of only 1 participant.
